This is our first Birthday celebration so there's an awesome line up and a load of cake! This is a family friendly, all-ages punk/indie gig. You don't have to be a child/teenager to come along but they are more than welcome.

There is a Facebook event here:

    Esper Scout

Esper Scout are actually pretty hard to describe but the genres of post-punk, indie, grunge and certainly pop ring true for me, I think experimental is the name of the game but certainly not in any pretentious manner. Four honest, down to Earth folk who between them also run the ‘Bomb The Twist’ collective will be here to show you all a great time. Have a listen online and prepare yourselves!

    Get Human

Mid-paced lo-fi punk music with a bit of an indie tinge. If you’re into bands like Snuff, The Thermals or Sicko then you might like 'em (this is also my band so sorry for being 'that guy' but come on, I held out for a year!)

    The Three Amigos

First up, there’s two of them (confusing right?!) but I’m assured that there was three at one point. This dynamic duo (or self confessed “world famous ukulele masters”) will be bringing their unique take on pop, rock and punk covers to get this party started. And at the end of the day they’re named after the greatest film of all time so they’ve got my vote.

Doors at ever at 1:30pm, first band at 2pm, all done and dusted by 4pm. £4 in for people over 14, free for people under.

Just a cheeky little bump as this is coming soon. Really happy to also announce that The Old Chestnut have agreed to donate all profit from cakes at the gig to St. Gemma's Hospice (and ALL money through the door will be going to this charity too). There's also an interview up with one of the bands at http://youthanthems.wordpress.com and more coming soon.
