    Favourite Bands:

This is our 12th (!) family friendly DIY matinee gig in Leeds. It's aimed at everyone and anyone regardless of age and ability so feel free to bring the whole family (or pop down on your own). It's a matinee gig so bands from 2pm-4pm but the bar is still open with an ace range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including amazing hot drinks to go with the incredible cakes that That Old Chestnut will be serving up).

The gig is also a benefit for Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds, where 100% of the money will be going. We also have a Food Bank collection point at the gig and a clothing swap shop where you can drop off clothes or swap them for some that are already there (it's mainly kids clothes and all that are leftover after the gig will be going to Emmaus Leeds).

    Band wise we have:

Mr C D Wallum & His Ten a Penny Footwarmers

Mr C D Wallum blues extrodinaire will be bringing his Jazz supergroup to Wharf Chambers for the first time! Expect to see members of all your favourite local swing and jazz bands backing the man of mystery himself! Get your dancing shoes on because these lot mean business with their irresistible mix of Ragtime, Jazz, Blues and Swing.

Familiar faces for sure (if you're already fans of Molars, The Cost of Living or Travels By Telephone). These local scamps will bring smiles across the board with their charming Devo meets Talking Heads via Washington circa 1990 vibe.

    Fig By Four

Haunting, dreamy folk-pop provided by Sarah from that there Esper Scout band.

It's free entry for people 14 or under or £4 for those over. Any questions just email me at youthanthems@gmail.com or post on the Facebook event page:
