It's getting darker earlier by the day, so what do you do when evening strolls on the cliftops are out of the question and your local tennis court is not flood lit?

When the nights close in, you have to put a good film on, get the bottles of lager out, get the fire on and relax

Never mind getting darker earlier by the day, it's getting bloomin' colder!

It's brass monkeys down here in Sheffcestershire, what's it like up in Leeds land?

Yes, I can live with snow, frost and ice, but what I really tire of is scraping ice off my windscreen every morning. And then when I set off it comes back again, the *******!

I don't mind the cold stuff, it's the wind that does me nut in.

Going to the pictures with your loved one and snuggling up with a big box of popcorn while its cold and dark outside.

Yeah, the wind and the rain are the pits especially when you've just done your hair. I'm going to put that on the "What do you hate?" thread.

I quite like warm rain though...like tropical rain, rare in Leeds I know, but the wind whipping it round you in an aggresive fashion, always blame the wind.
