I've also started to do a bit of driving (7 seater MPV) might be more worth it depending on the size of the band.

Hey. What vehicle do you have and what're your rates?
Could be useful for some future stuff.

To be honest, this might be a decent threat for the musicians resources section. Can be difficult finding local drivers. When me old band used to have a tour coming up, in would be a case of racking the old brains and seeing who still had a van and was still driving, or who we hadn't fucked off enough for them to drive us again :)

I Have a Citreon Synergie with a massive roofbox for extras. Used to belong to the Khuda guys. It also has a small safe and an ok stereo.

As for rates, I'm not massively sure, would I be right in assuming the going rate it about £50 a day plus diesel and food?

£50 sounds very fair as long as your not able to eat the cars weight of food per day

    £50 is a good price.

Do the back seats fold down in a Synergie?

I usually take them out depending on how many people are coming for the trip, usually 4 seats as standard in the car though.

I well reckon this thread should do in't musicians resource's bit! I've refered to it about 3 times now, to email to other people, who always seem to think I know van people. I used to, but I mainly upset them by getting pissed and bollacko int van after gigs...
