Andy Coulson cleared of perjury as trial collapses.

He is still claiming he didnt lie, although his lawyers were claiming it didnt make any difference to the case.
A person telling lies is very much relating to the case, it makes my blood boil; the wealthy and connected seem to get away with loads of stuff, on a technicality.

He is a mate of Daves' so what should we expect.

Totally agree with you Sevenhills. This is what makes mad as well. Its symptomatic of so much that is wrong in this country. Hopefully they will get him on something else and he wont walk into another money for nothing job. Maybe a spell on universal credit will being a little humility to him.

Does it say if costs were awarded against the prosecution. I hope not becasue this really would be taking the proverbial mickey.
