"Massive Spamming"

    Just appeared on Sky News

    The National Crime Agency has issued a warning of "A Massive Spamming" about to hit someComputors in the U.K. apparently this concerns Attachments which infect a computor. Suggest you tune in to your News for the details.

    It seems that opening an attchment can infect your computor and then you are held to a ransom to free same. I guess it will all be in tomorrows papers.

    A lot of sites were hit by spammers a bit back. Yahoo groups were very badly hit by spammers. I run Leedsfreegle (if you want to find out more go to ilovefreegle.org and search for Leeds) and the spamming /hacking was so bad we had to moderate the whole site. It was awful but now has seemed to subside a lot.
