Anybody notice what appear to be changes in the 5 minute morning slots on BBC 'Breakfast'? They now seem to be from the East Yorkshire/North Lincolnshire edition which I believe is broadcast from studios in Hull. Is this right and if so then why? There is the odd item from the Leeds and West Yorkshire area, but most of the news is from the east and south of the region. The presenters are different (no Clare Frisby etc.,) with no accompanying weatherman in the studio. Most unsatisfactory for those of us who live further west and north and used to our local news being mainly 'local'!

Plenty of moaning about it on Twitter. Clare Frisby now produces and presents the lunchtime news. The breakfast bulletin is far too clinical and read by what sounds like a primary school teacher.
