How about a business section?

    The business section on Sheffield Forum is very good, are there plans to start one for Leeds?

    No; take a look at the business section on Sheffield Forum. It is a great place to share advice and help one another out.

    You are NOT allowed to advertise your services there, there is a seperate section for that.

    Hi Steve, thanks for the suggestions. Once the site grows a little larger then we will certainly look to create more sub-forums. Sheffield Forum has been around for 8 years now and we've developed all the various areas over the years - we launched with just a few areas, like this site currently has. In the meantime, if you'd like to start a topic called "Leeds Small Businesses Thread" (or similar) in the Leeds Discussions then we can use that for the time being :)

    Hi did the business thread ever get started as i can't find it?. I definitely think this will be a good idea. What about a tips and advice thread? I write articles and provide (impartial) tips on cleaning and gardening that some might find useful but can't see any where this would fit at the moment.??

    Hi, there is no business thread as yet, the forum is still oo young. All business related posts are best going in the classifieds section for now, once the forum has grown more further threads will be added. Advice can always be offered in the general threads, so long as it is not touting for business.

    'Plumbing/Heating advice' - that could be extended to 'Trades' or 'DIY' advice'

    even DIY brain surgery, sorry just had to throw that in.
