A firm consensus of opinion may be a tricky thing to achieve, but in this country we have a mechanism by which each area votes in a chap to represent them in Parliament.
Traditionally these representatives are told what to think by their party leader, but this new chap has this crazy idea of expecting them to think for themselves and discuss the ideas between them.
Damn scruffy layabout. He's attacking the very pillars of our mediocracy.

The problem with all politicians is their mouths. They say things, maybe off the cuff or in the heat of the moment and people tend to take it as gospel. If Corbyn doesn't like the monarchy that's no crime. There are probably others who think the same but talking of abolishing the system which most people in Britain support and love to one degree or another just makes him look stupid

Do these people love the monarchy, or just the Queen?
Will Charles enjoy the same level of support?

The best thing Charlie could do is allow William to take the crown. Why would Charlie want to be king anyway at his age?
