I've just bought a circular glass plaque, very kitsch, painted on the reverse with a crinoline lady scene. The stamp on the back looks like "Hoteliers Ltd", but it could be Moteliers or Noteliers, any ideas!? I have another very similar with a forest scene- they're pretty odd!

What makes you think it was made in Leeds? Any other markings?

There was a firm called Hoteliers Ltd at Holbeck.

Oh I bet that's it! The stamp says 'Hoteliers Ltd, Leeds', it's just the first word is slightly obscured. Any idea what they did? I'll have a look in an old directory. Thanks.
