I came back onto this forum 'cause I like the people who post here, the regulars. I keep having a look, and it seems very desolate to me. Wiseguy, Roy James and the Drunken Dwarf kept the forum alive when everyone else deserted, and I think they succeeded. When no-one else was around for days you could always get a response from Wiseguy, and he kept an eagle eye on the spammers and numpties, he was an excellent moderator. Could we please have him back? I notice there is 'history' between the present moderator and one of our regulars, and I don't think the moderator was particularly diplomatic, this gave me a bad feeling. It feels to me very much like a 'us and them' situation. As a show of goodwill, could we please have our own moderator back? He who misses nothing, and judges no-one, and always has a funny story to tell, and makes you feel like you're not the only person left in the world.

Hi FS, thanks for posting and I'm not sure what's happened to Wiseguy - I guess he's either just on holiday at the mo or taking a break - he was here a few weeks ago. Really this forum hasn't officially launched yet, things are starting this week with some promotion on Google and Facebook. I'm sure Wiseguy will be back again and if he's interested in being a moderator then ask him to drop us a line via http://www.leedsforum.co.uk/sendmessage.php

I make no bones about the fact that I'm not a Leeds Forum regular and see it as pointless to try to pretend that I am. I do however have a history with some people who are or were regulars on Sheffield Forum and I'm sorry if that colours how people think of me.

I'm keeping a watch on the forum just until it has its own team.

Just noticed your google ads are now appearing on the Google adsense on my website,[To check, just click the link on my signature below] so far seen a general type ad and one for people interested in leeds rhinos. Just out of interest does it cost much to promote on Google.
