I have seen one at about 2.30am, I have also seen one at 10am, the thing is you don’t see them like you used to now everyone gets cheap milk from the supermarket

But in the warm weather, the milk might be off by the time you get up!

When I used to have it delivered, he only used to come twice a week at the most, and leave three or four days worth.

I'm surprised he didn't just be done with it and give me 30 pints on the first of every month.

I'm not posh enough to have a Milkman! We have to resort to buying our milk from the supermarket!

I don't have it delivered any more, the bills would mount up and I'd have to pay £40 at a time, it got too much.

I don't know if my mum still gets it delivered or not but she certainly used to when I lived at home and some mornings we'd go and pick it up to find birds had beaten us to it and pecked a hole in the foil lid!!!

.......
We did try our local milkman when we moved here six or so years back, and that's what happened, he'd come late, we might be out, he'd leave it on the step in the sun and it would go off.

Some days he didn't show up at all, and when we did get the bill it had discrepancies (in his favour) and as 4Leaf Clover said, it adds up after three weeks or so!

They don't seem to make milkmen like when I were a lad anymore
