Hi there!
I'm a student coming up to Leeds at UoL in September and I was just wondering where the best nights out are? (clubs/bars etc)
I'm not sure what to expect :P and would gladly appreciate any input!
Thank you so much
- Steve

Well I'm past my clubbing days (at 31 with 2 young kids lol) but in my opinion your looking at City centre and also a good night out in Headingley.
Are you talking about where you fancy living or just a night out once here?
I'm sure you will find plenty that you like. Leeds is a fab place for young people / students.

Hi Steve, trust me the Student Union will have more on offer in Freshers week than you can handle, probably the first thing you will do will be the Otley Run

Hey Leedsman, priorities in place, results and qualifications may or may not occur as a result of simply attending uni.
Welcome to Leeds Steve,

I agree Leedsman, our son has just returned home after 6 years due to UCL London, and working in a good job in London,
Cardiff, India and now back in Leeds. Nightlife was'nt a priority, ... or so he told us. He left us as a boy and returned, a man

best area to go in Leeds for student a night out is Headingley, go to the bar like Skyrack, Arch, Library etc. You'll defintely be having a good time round this area and don't forget to order plenty of snake bites and blacks.

Best nights out are where your friends are going. There will be loads of Intro Week activities for you to meet up with people.
I think all the clubs I used to go to have closed down or changed ownership now.

Ah yes, the casino. One of my uni friends spent his entire loan for a year there in Freshers week and then had to eat ramen noodles for the rest of the year.
