Has any one tried the fish restaurant in Merrion Street? If so, how do you rate it?
I believe it is/was called Nash's and changed hands sometime during this last year or so.

I don't eat fish but work opposite the restaurant, many colleagues use it and rate it very highly, I'm sad I can't eat fish listening to the feedback that I have heard.

Yep, can recommend Nash's too - they also have a restaurant in Chapel Allerton. Another place for good fish and chips is Fish& who have a hut on Commercial Street, outside the Halifax bank. Worth a try if you are out and about.

Leeds seems to have its unfair share of great fish and chip shops and curry restaurants.
It's a great place to live .

Bretts on North Lane in Headingley is a lovely place to have a sit down fish and chip dinner, plus they are licenced so you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your meal. Prices are very reasonable too.
