the "rich don't pay enough" argument is getting tired.
What is rich to you is poor to someone else, you are rich compared to others.
That argument just smacks of jealousy rather than any thought out reasoning. You can be sure that "the rich" pay plenty in taxes..... of course people do what they can to reduce their tax liability, wouldn't you? Or do you contribute more than you have to out of national pride or some such?
Headlines about "the rich" avoiding taxes are easy journalism that sells papers to the masses.....

As a working poor person, earning around £14K, its probably those people that earn £50K that pay more tax than everyone else.
