Hello,

As many of the forum members have shown a keen interest in photographing Leeds, our county and the rest of the UK we thought it fitting to introduce a group specifically to discuss them.

If you have visited a site of interest in Leeds, taken photos, have a web link or anything feel free to post it here.

Here's something I found that might be of interest just as a starter for 10:

Abandoned monument to the Sociopolitical Communist movement - Bulgaria

This group has [IMG] tags enabled so you can post your photographs from external websites such as photobucket or flickr

With regard to entering what could effectively be private property, I'd just like to say that this group's intent is by no means to encourage dangerous behaviour. Also, the intent and ethos of Urban Exploration is simply: Exploration, not to damage the places that are being explored or remove any articles.

can we only do UK sites? Or can we go a bit more exotic?

It's up to you! Leeds is preferable but anything goes I suppose.

Talkurbex are notorious for leaving calling cards and inciting vandalism.

read about the calling cards but not the vandalism.....

a few days back, it was a leetle bit specific being just for Urbex!

I am thinking about buying a pro DSLR {Nikon D1x} But second-hand lenses? Any pro advice?

I think we share the same taste in photography and also are both members of Sub Brit judging by your Bulgarian pic.

I think you also ehibited at North bar a while back but didn't reply to my email.

What about starting a Flickr group just for photos from in and around Leeds? Or is there one that exists already?
